room was a decent size - i am comparing with recent stays in spain and france. the continental breakfast was also better than average - they actually provide fresh fruit and there is selection of fruit juices, cereal, yogurt. Very good accomodations for the price (at the time 45 euro) - best so far for me (I am doing a 1 month tour of Europe on a budget i.e. max 80 euro/night for double accomodation with private bathroom usually breakfast included)
The location is close to train station (maybe 5 blocks) but in a somewhat questionable area. But i suppose it is to be expected in the downtown area. One of the staff (young guy in early 30's) seemed to be giving a bit of attitude but was still professional.
From my experience breakfast was better than usually in italian hotels, it was simple but tasted really good. The location was perfect for those who want an easy access to the city. Peaceful place in the middle of the city. The staff spoke very good English and was nice and helpful. Rooms were clean. We liked the atmosphere of the hotel very much.
Noises (door slamming and noises from the waterpipes) heard from the corridors and other rooms at night can be disturbing for some.
The hotel is at less than 10 min from the Central Railway Station, in a quiet zone. The staff was very kind and helped us to find a very good restaurant for the dinner, at walk distance from the hotel. The room and the bathroom were comfortable. The breakfast is more than sufficient and of good quality (but no ham or eggs for those who are used to have them).
The weak point is the shower: it would be enough to remove the calcareous deposit to let the water go out. Moreover, there was a used soap left in the soap-dish.
1) Really value for money! 2) Absolutely excellent cats living there. 3) Balcony in our room. 4) Rather nice a bit small elevator
1) A single a bit bizarre, but pretty funny moment - one breakfast we were asked to pay for coffee, being told that hot drinks were not included to the breakfast menu. The next morning when staff had changed everything was ok and we were served absolutely free coffee. 2) When we checked-in our room was rather clean, but balcony wasn'T.
Ikea style hotel. The price was good. The room and the bathroom were clean. The room was really big. Nice breakfast.
One guy at the reception was really not nice, very bitter... The location is not good because its far from the center and not such a nice neighborhood to hangout when its getting dark, but on the other hand very close to the main train station. No free wi-fi (extra charge)
The room was really nice, It was very clean, it was quiet. After we check-out we could left our luggage there until late in the evening without any costs. The break-fast was not so full but we knew this before we made the reservation and it was ok.
excellent location at a great price. The hotel was clean and essential. Average breakfast. What a nice cats!!
The location is very good. Rooms are clean and nice.
I don't like behaviour of one of the man from reception. He was rude and unpleasant. Moreover, he told that there is only one croissant per person during breakfast because it is not restaurant. What does he mean ? I have no idea. On the other hand, the second man was fine and helpful.
The Location just some minutes to the railwaystation
the breakfast was quite poor ....
Good staff........... Understands the need of a traveller......... Good food but can put some vegetables to make sandwitch which is not very expensive.
Room was big. Close to Train Station, 10-15 minutes walk. Bed was large and comfortable. Air Conditionong was good. Internet was ok but I had to pay 2 Euro for 1 hour.
Shower was too small, I could not move my body in the shower. Elevator was small as well, if you put your luggage inside elevator you dont find a place to stand. Guy at the reception was not helpful. Price of the room is a bit high.
The lovely little garden and two beautiful cats. Administrational staff was really helpful and friendly
Absence of lunch boxes in case of emergency
Great location, close to Corso Buenos Aires, Lima metro station and Milano Central Station where you can easily catch the bus to the airport (either Linate, Malpensa or Bergamo). Rooms are simple but cozy and very clean. Beds made every day and towels changed. The breakfast has some variety, cappucinos and croissants are excellent (there is still juice, yogurt, butter, jam, cheese, cereal, sliced bread for toast).
The officer who used to be at the front desk during the night dont speak any english and sometimes are a bit rude.
Location, just 5 mintues to central station!
Poorly served by the receptionist! The muscleman receptionist could not satisfy the request timely! Lousy attitude!!!
